Description

 Chestnut mushroom powder has a well-defined mushroom flavor that furnishes a mild peppery finish to any dish.  It can be used as a base for soups and sauces, whisked with eggs in a scramble or omelet, or used as a seasoning rub for meat, fish, and poultry. The powder can be mixed with flour when baking, or dusted over roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes. It is a healthy way to add the distinctive flavor of Chestnut mushrooms to any dish.

  Directions For Use

 Add mushroom powder a little at a time, tasting frequently, so as not to over season.

 Nutritional Information

Chestnut Mushrooms are known to be rich in polysaccharides, which the body uses as a primary source of energy.  They have also been shown to have antibacterial and anti-tumor properties, although these claims have not yet been evaluated by the FDA.
